Spray tests
The spray test is used for the description of corrosion protection systems and for the examination of metallic coats for defects. An aqueous sodium chlorid solution is atomised continuously in the chamber.
It concerns a high-speed corrosion attempt, which does not permit direct statements about the behavior of the examined parts in the field use.
The corrosion load can deviate substantially from the practical conditions, whereby this test is suitable mainly for the comparison of different systems.
