Order processing through our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
The Thermoplastics Testing Center uses a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for processing its orders. Our LIMS manages all the processing of the main services compounding, test specimen productionand testingfrom entry of the order to forwarding of results.
The relevant marketing employee enters the test remit into the LIMS which, on the basis of the material type, determines the testing parameters, the necessary number of test specimen and – if required – the requisite production quantity.
During the processing of the order, your marketing representative is kept informed online about the order status.
By means of interfaces with our testing machinery, the testing parameters are obtained, with the results being returned to the database.
