 | In plastics components, processing and orientation characteristics have a major influence on the mechanical properties of the material to be processed. In order to obtain test specimen from injection-molded parts or extruded material, these are prepared from the finished parts by means of high speed cutting.
 In this way, the requisite flow, orientation directions or the influence of processing on the plastic part can be determined. The usual milled test specimen are dumbbell test specimen, flat test specimen and round sheets. These display the smallest deviation compared with the corresponding injection-molded products.
