Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)
Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) is used to determine the weight loss of a plastic sample when subjected to a rise in temperature under defined atmospheric conditions.
By a coupling of TGA and infrared spectroscopy (IR) it is also possible to analyse the exhaust gases.

The following test conditions can be adjusted:
  • Dynamic or isothermal temperature programs
  • Inert or oxidizing atmosphere
