Scratch Resistance
For the determination of the scratching firmness of materials a new testing method has been developed, which simulates an abrasiv load on the surfaces. Small particles (e.g. sand) are accelerated in an air flow and hit the surface to be tested.

So far different existing standard tests do not simulate a close-to-reality load e.g. the speed of automobiles up to 140 Km/h.
